Welcome to the
Church of Evangelismos
Annunciation of Our Lady
(57 Carr St North Perth)
“For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
(John 3:16)
As informed by His Eminence Archbishop Makarios, services will continue but with only one Priest serving and one or two support people necessary for conducting the service. People are being advised to stay home and not attend services.**
We are providing live services for each Sunday Liturgy and the Salutations Friday night on our Facebook page here.
The Eastern Orthodox Church is the one and undivided Body of Christ as established from the beginning.
It is the Holy Catholic (universal and complete) and Apostolic Church (Nicene Creed – 325 and 381 AD). It is the one and only true Church, the one and only true faith, according to the teachings of Jesus Christ Himself unchanged by human innovation.
We strive to practice the teachings of Christ as handed down to the Apostles from the beginning in a continuous and unbroken Holy Tradition.
The Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation of Our Lady – Evangelismos (Ευαγγελισμός), is located in Perth, Western Australia. The parish was established in 1958 with the purchase of land at the corner of Charles and Carr Streets in West Perth, Australia.
